Star Wars director JJ Abrams has revealed he would love to shoot in Ireland again.
The film maker brought Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Co. Kerry when the crew filmed on Skellig Michael.
“It was an amazing time. The look of the place, so many people who saw the movie didn’t think it was real,” he told Goss.ie.
The director also revealed the crew have already filmed on Skellig Michael again for the upcoming episode 8 in the franchise.
Speaking at the Oscar Wilde party in Los Angeles, JJ revealed he would love the opportunity to work with Irish actor and Star Wars villain Domhnall Gleeson again.
“I cannot wait to work with him again and I know I will try if he’ll have me,” he said.
