Liam Cunningham reveals new season of Game of Thrones will be 'naughtier'

Liam Cunningham has revealed that Game of Thrones season six will be “bigger, badder, bolder and naughtier”.

The Dubliner, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth in the legendary fantasy series, admitted that from what he has seen and filmed – the new season is set to be even raunchier and more violent than ever before.

“We just finished filming at the end of December,” he said.

“I’ve seen a bit of it and it’s looking really good. It’s bigger, badder, bolder and naughtier.”

“It’s probably more violent, so there will be magnificent drama.”

The show maintains a strong Irish influence as it also stars Dublin actor Aidan Gillen and is filmed largely in Belfast.

On the controversy surrounding the fate of popular character Jon Snow, played by British heartthrob Kit Harington, who’s life was left hanging in the balance at the end of season five – Liam remained tight-lipped.

While the actor wouldn’t dare spill any secrets about Jon Snow’s future in season six, he admitted that he has enjoyed shooting some “very different” scenes, but couldn’t reveal any crucial details.

“Unfortunately, what that difference entails I can’t say,” he added.

The sixth season of Game Of Thrones will premiere on April 24 on HBO.
