CBB’s Stephanie Davis has opened up about her relationship with Jeremy McConnell – and what will happen to them in the aftermath of Celebrity Big Brother.
The British star, who hasn’t spoken properly to her ex Sam Reece since coming out, cried as she admitted she followed her heart during her reality TV stint.
“I can’t believe I’ve found someone who actually loves me for me. [Jeremy’s] the first one to love me for me, he’s given me belief back in myself,” she said.

Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women, Stephanie, who dumped her ex by text when she came out of the reality show, admitted Sam was concerned about Jeremy before she entered the house and asked her to “big him up”.
“Before I came in Sam got Jez up on Twitter and was like, oh, he’s going in. And he told me to big him [Sam] up and say he was lovely and I was going to marry him and everything,” she explained.
“I knew he cheated on me time and time again and I only stayed with him because of the past.”
Revealing the moment that she knew her Jeremy were going to get together, the 22-year-old said it was all down to her Amy Winehouse impression.

“When I got up and sang Valerie, he looked at me and he was like, I love you, because his mum’s name was Valerie,” she continued.
Opening up about what she loves most about the Dubliner, the former Hollyoaks actress admitted it’s “his morals” and his ability to stay positive.
“When he was younger he lost his mum, his brother and sister within the space of 15 months, and the only pictures he’s got is in the locket – that’s why I was so upset when he gave it to me,” she said.
“He’s just got such a great outlook in life despite what’s happened in his past.”
