Bruce Springsteen to play only two Croke Park gigs

It has been reported Bruce Springsteen will only be allowed to play two gigs in Croke Park – —as rumours swirl that Beyonce will take to the venue also this summer.

GAA bosses can only hold three concerts in the sports stadium without seeking planning permission from Dublin City Council.

According to the Sun, insiders confirmed that just one Bruce Springsteen concert has officially been sanctioned but promoters will be able to release a tickets for a second date, likely May 29, if the first sells-out.

“Selling tickets online means promoters can constantly monitor how many people are queuing to buy tickets for Bruce,” a source told the paper.

“Should demand outstrip supply for a first concert, a second show at Croke Park can instantly be added.”

Although tickets prices haven’t been officially confirmed, an insider revealed seated tickets should range from €65.45 to €131 with a €98.50 price for standing (both subject to service charge).
