He’s set to appear in the Conjuring II but Simon Delaney has admitted he has never seen a horror film before he starred in the new flick.
A self-confessed scaredy-cat, the Dubliner revealed he’s terrified of a number of things including the Angelus.
“I’ve never watched a horror film in my life and now I’m in one. Breaking Bad scares me. I get upset watching the Angelus,” he said.

The former Bachelor’s Walk actor will star alongside Maria Doyle Kennedy in the James Wan directed film and admitted it was comforting working with a familiar face.
“I’m doing most of my scenes with Maria Doyle Kennedy, I’ve known her for years but we’ve never worked together,” he told the Mirror.
“We starred in an Irish movie years ago but for the Conjuring II we’ve a lot of scenes together, it was great to see a friendly face over in LA.”
Revealing it’s the biggest movie he’s done, Simon admitted he’ll be watching the final cut behind his hands.

“It’s the biggest movie that I’ve done but I’ll be watching it squinting from behind my hands,” he explained.
“Even when I read the script I was flicking through terrified because it’s all crucifixes and priests.”
Scares aside, the 45-year-old remained tight-lipped about his character in the highly-anticipated horror.
“I can’t say much about my character but I’m playing a real person so I have to be careful and do the family justice,” he said.
