Nicky Byrne has revealed that he has been given a record deal – just one day after announcing he is heading to the Eurovision.
The former Westlife star is gearing up to represent Ireland in Sweden with his song Sunlight.
The 2fm host has now announced that his solo career continues to rise with a new deal with Universal Music Ireland.

The record company were clearly impressed with Nicky’s new tune, as the singer revealed the video on YouTube is shooting up in hits.
The news comes after the Dubliner recently opened up to Goss.ie about a solo deal.
