Boots have released a festive advert that unwraps the joy of spending time with loved ones at Christmas.
The ‘Bags of Joy’ film stars BAFTA-nominated actress Jenna Coleman as ‘Joy’, and was directed by Academy Award winner Tom Hooper.
The advert follows Joy and her magical bag, which wields the power to make her Christmas truly magical by delivering the perfect gifts to her friends and family at every opportunity.
The magical bag of joy represents the 1000s of gifts available at Boots, including beauty, fragrance, homeware, electrical beauty and stocking fillers, with something for everyone this year.
Linda Nolan, Head of Marketing at Boots Ireland, said: “Last Christmas was challenging for many of us as we were faced with a festive season like none we had ever experienced.”
“This year we have a lot more hope for a Christmas that can be spent in the company of those we love. We wanted to capture that hope and the joy that Christmas brings in this beautiful uplifting story.”

The ‘Bags of Joy’ TV advert will air for the first time on Saturday, November 6th.
