2024 graced us with some memorable cinematic masterpieces – including Wicked, Gladiator and Deadpool vs Wolverine.
But now we’re looking forward to the future, and in 2025, there are more than a few films we can’t wait to watch.

Companion (January 31st)
A billionaire’s death sets off a chain of events for Iris and her friends during a weekend trip to his lakeside estate.
The film stars Sophie Thatcher, Jack Quaid, Lukas Gage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén and Rupert Friend.
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (February 13th)
The fourth Bridget Jones film, which will be streamed on Peacock, is based on Helen Fielding’s 2013 novel of the same name.
It features the return of Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, and Emma Thompson (as well as Colin Firth as a ghost) and two new romantic interests: Mr. Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a dashing teacher at Bridget’s children’s school, and the youthful and endearing Roxster (Leo Woodall).
The film will be available to stream on Peacock on February 13th.
The Monkey (February 21st)
After stumbling upon their father’s vintage toy monkey in the attic, twin brothers Hal and Bill witness a string of horrifying deaths unfolding around them.
In an attempt to leave the haunting behind, the brothers discard the monkey and pursue separate paths over time.
However, when the inexplicable deaths resurface, the brothers are compelled to reconcile and embark on a mission to eliminate the cursed toy permanently.
The film is an adaptation of the short story by the same name, written in 1980 by Stephen King.
Snow White (March 21st)
A live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure returns to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.
The film portrays Rachel Zegler as Snow White and will be released on March 21st.
Lilo and Stitch (May 23rd)
How to Train Your Dragon (June 13th)
On the rugged isle of Berk, a Viking boy named Hiccup defies centuries of tradition by befriending a dragon named Toothless.
However, when an ancient threat emerges that endangers both species, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future.
Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.
The film is adapted from the well-loved animated film of the same name.
F1 (June 27th)
A former driver finds himself back in action when he returns to Formula 1 racing to take on the sport’s top competition.
The film stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris and many more.
The film will be released on June 27th.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25th)
In a 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic Earth, the Fantastic Four must protect their home from being devoured by the cosmic being Galactus and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer.
Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, alongside Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimms.
Freakier Friday (August 8th)

Tess and Anna discover that lightning may indeed strike twice as they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge.
The film, which will be released on August 8th, sees Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman.
Wicked: For Good (November 21st)

Set in the Land of Oz, before, during and after the events of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the plot will cover the events of the musical’s second act, following Elphaba and Galinda’s friendship being put to the test as they embrace their new respective identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eviro will star in next year’s part two, to be released on November 21st.
28 Years Later
It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Still living in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amid the infected.
One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. When one of them decides to venture into the dark heart of the mainland, he soon discovers a mutation that has spread to not only the infected, but other survivors as well.
The film is the third filming in the series, following 28 Weeks Later and 28 Days Later.
It stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, with Cillian Murphy set to reprise his role.
