Tom Bachik is in charge of the most talented talons in Hollywood.
He is the go-to manicurist of Selena Gomez, Jennifer Anniston and Heidi Klum, to name but a few.
On Thursday he was honoured with the Choice Detail Maker award at the Marie Claire Image Maker Awards.
And it’s bad news this year for the creatively clawed among us.
Bachik told Stylish that less is more in 2018!
He broke tacky hearts worldwide when he proclaimed this year was all about “really clean looking nails. Nudes, reds and dark colors are really hot”.
Overall he said that nails this year would be more “minimalistic”.
Longs nails are out and nail art needs to be pared right back.
“Heidi’s gone shorter with her nails and even J.Lo’s taken away her almond to a much shorter, softer nail. Everything’s just really classic.”
