This Irish Blogger gets PAID to travel all over the world

Imagine having the time to travel to the most luxurious spots around the world, imagine being able to see a new country each month, and then imagine being PAID for it all.

Well we’ve just summed up the life of Irish blogger Nadia El Ferdaoussi and it’s the stuff dreams are made of.

Over the next few months Nadia has planned a trip around the world, and has already started by heading to a private island in the Caribbean.

As we’re preparing for a serious cold Irish winter, we’re living vicariously through Nadia’s sunny snaps (she’s nadia_dailyself on Instagram FYI).

The girl behind popular Irish blog The Daily S’elf said she wanted to celebrate her 30th birthday with one hell of a trip.

“I wanted to celebrate the fact that I turned 30 and still have the freedom to do something like this,” she told Goss.ie.

Found paradise. It’s a place called @jumbybayresort #jumbybay #jumbymoments #thedailyselftravels #rwjourneys

“I never took a gap year, went interrailing around Europe or spent a summer in America on a J1.

“So this is my chance to travel the world and I’m fortunate enough to call it work,” she explained.

Nadia has just spent a few night reviewing a 5 star exclusive resort in St Barth, the St. Tropez of the Caribbean. If you want to follow her experiences, her Snapchat will drive you mad with jealousy.

Not only has Nadia been enjoying endless Champagne and her own private pool, she also got a private plane charter  to reach the island which has seen Leonardo DiCaprio partying with Victoria’s Secret models and is home to the hotel owned by Pippa Middleton’s fiancé James Matthew’s parents.

So how is this actually a job you wonder? Well, Nadia writes for print publications in Ireland such as the Irish Examiner, Sunday Business Post and Irish Daily Mail to name a few, but is also an avid social media fan – with some exciting posts coming to Goss.ie very soon.

Her Instagram account is an endless stream of white sandy beaches, tropical sunsets and lavish yacht trips.

“Sailing is my favourite,” she revealed.

“One of my first press trips was on The Yacht Week in Greece and since then I’ve been sailing in the British and US Virgin Islands, Croatia, Ibiza and Turkey.

“It’s definitely the best way to travel and the fact that the island I’m on now, Jumby Bay (a private island off the coast of Antigua) is only accessible by boat makes it even more appealing to me.”

Where’s next for Nadia? You’ll have to follow her stunning social media accounts to find out.

“I don’t have a strict itinerary, travel should be fun and spontaneous. Some of the best opportunities have popped up last minute.

“For now, I’m meeting up with friends I’ve met along the way and I’m open to seeing new places or revisiting my favourites.

“One thing’s for sure, I’m happy to keep chasing the sun for as long as I find it fun,” she added.
