Up to ten people injured as stairs collapse at Tayto Park

Up to ten people have reportedly been hurt after stairs collapsed in a haunted house in Tayto Park.

The accident happened this evening in the popular amusement park in county Meath.

According to the Irish Mirror,a set of stairs at the House of Horrors “suddenly collapsed” leaving up to a dozen people injured.

According to the publication sources have said that people are being treated at “various nearby hospitals throughout the county as a precaution”.

A spokesperson said the customers had been brought to hospital as a precaution and they did not know whether they had been injured.

A witness described hearing a “loud bang and a lot of screaming”.

Tayto Park’s Halloween After Dark nights have been hugely popular since launching last year.
