98FM have sadly revealed that Batman Ben has passed away.
The five-year-old was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Wilms Tumour stage IV in December 2015.
Ben ‘Batman’ Farrell’s family had campaigned tirelessly to raise funds to send him to America for treatment, after he endured 19 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in Ireland.

Just last month, Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers urged people to donate to Ben’s cause as he invited him on set of The Vikings.
Following efforts to raise money for his treatment, Ben was undergoing treatment in Washington but was flown home on Monday night.
Ben sadly passed away surrounded by family and friends at his home in Finglas.
