Stacey Solomon hits back at ‘judgy’ comment about her parenting

Stacey Solomon has hit back at a “judgy” comment about her parenting.

The Loose Women panelist took part in an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, with one follower asking the star: “Why don’t the boys have a set bedtime instead of letting them fall asleep first?”

The 31-year-old replied: “Don’t know if this is a really judgy question or I’m just pre menstrual and taking it as a personal parenting dig.”

“We do have a sort of bedtime, we don’t have a really strict routine because we never know if we are coming or going a lot of the time so we just go with it and do the best that we can,” she explained.

“I love cuddling my kids, whether people think it is right or wrong, I genuinely want to just squeeze in those cuddles while I can because I know that one day they won’t want to cuddle me anymore.”

“I do genuinely think just do what works for you, no matter what anyone thinks,” Stacey added. “Parenting is hard enough without people making you feel like you’re failing.”

“If you love your children unconditionally and you’re trying your best, then you’re the most incredible parent your child could wish for.”

The former X Factor star then shared a picture of herself cuddling her two youngest boys at 8:37pm, and wrote: “Current situation and I can’t wait to cuddle them all to sleep tonight.”

Stacey is mum to 12-year-old Zachary and eight-year-old Leighton from previous relationships, and shares one-year-old Rex with her fiancé Joe Swash.

Joe also shares a 13-year-old son named Harry with his ex Emma Sophocleous.
