R. Kelly has been found guilty of racketeering in his sex trafficking trial.
Prosecutors accused the R&B singer, 54, of exploiting his fame to lure women and underage girls for sex.
The Chicago native, who’s real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, had pleaded not guilty to racketeering and eight counts of violating a federal law making it illegal to transport people across state lines for prostitution.
The I Believe I Can Fly singer was found guilty on all nine counts in Brooklyn, New York, and faces up ten years to life in prison.
Deliberations by a jury of seven men and five women began on Friday afternoon.
Since the trial began on August 18, jurors heard testimony from dozens of women and former employees about the songwriter’s behaviour.
The father-of-three is due to face sentencing on May 4, 2022.

Many of the allegations came to light in the 2019 documentary Surviving R Kelly.
The verdict comes 13 years after R. Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges after a trial in the state of Illinois.
He still faces sex-related charges in Illinois and Minnesota.
