Meghan Markle takes a break from maternity leave to attend Trooping The Colour with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has taken a break from her maternity leave to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday at Trooping the Colour.

Every year, members of the royal family join the monarch to watch an RAF fly past from the balcony of Buckingham Palace – and Meghan was there to join in on the celebrations.

The new mum looked stunning as always in a navy ensemble, and arrived at the parade celebrations in a carriage alongside Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Meghan has been on maternity leave since April, and welcomed her first child, a son named Archie, with Prince Harry on May 6th.

We briefly saw her earlier this month when she introduced her son to the world, but she’s been hiding out at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ever since.

Trooping the Colour is the official commemoration of the Queen’s birthday, and the ceremony involves a military parade – which involves over 1,400 officers, 200 horses and over 400 musicians.
