Love Island 2021 stars Lillie Haynes and Jack Barlow have confirmed their split.
The Casa Amor contestants grew close shortly after they were dumped from the show, and started dating after they completed their mandatory quarantine back in the UK.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Lillie confirmed she was single again, saying her romance with Jack “wasn’t meant to be.”
The 22-year-old said: “I’m like the most North you can possibly get, and he lives as far down South as you could possibly get, so… everyone’s so busy and it’s hard to maintain relationships.”
“I think when you go through something so big because we all had such a big summer, it’s just kind of nice to breathe a bit.”
“He’s a lovely boy, I couldn’t fault him. It’s a shame, but it wasn’t meant to be,” she added.
Lillie revealed she is still looking for love, but admitted: “I have a lot of boxes that need ticking.”
“I like someone that’s really passionate and driven, so they’ll wake up everyday with goals in mind and to achieve them. I need someone that will really put the effort in and be a soppy romantic. I just expect a lot.”
The reality star famously struck up a romance with Liam Reardon in Casa Amor – who was already coupled up with Millie Court.
Liam decided to stay coupled up with Millie after Casa Amor, despite kissing and sharing a bed with Lillie for days, and his decision meant Lillie was dumped from the show.
