Liam Payne’s gaming contributed to split with Cheryl: ‘By the end it was the Xbox or Cheryl’

Liam Payne’s gaming was apparently the “final straw” that led to the demise of his relationship with Cheryl.

The young parents sadly announced their split last week and details about the breakdown of their relationship are beginning to seep out.

The Daily Star reported that the 35-year-old singer furiously flung his Xbox across the room after the 24-year-old defied a gaming ban she had put in place.

A source close to the couple said, “Cheryl loved playing on the Xbox with Liam when they first started going out.”

“She tried to ban him from playing it, the final straw was apparently when she went mental about it and chucked it across the room.”

“Liam loves to escape like other guys do, play online with the lads and all that, but by the end it was the Xbox or Cheryl.”

Since the split, Liam has gone back to playing FIFA, Call Of Duty and Grand Theft Auto, according to the source.
