Jedward have hit out at people in the public eye who have used their platforms to promote anti-mask protests.
The music duo have now become infamous for calling out anti-maskers and conspiracy theorists during the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking on The Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy, the Dublin stars said they felt they had to spread the right message on their own social media platforms.

“I just feel like there was so much misinformation online,” John admitted.
“We just felt like we had to come on and voice their opinion.I think a lot of people didn’t have the balls to do it,” Edward added.
“We all just have to follow the guidelines…it’s not even about you, it’s all ‘me me me’, but you’ve got to think of everybody and be more thoughtful,” he continued.
“I’ve come to a realisation that so many people just don’t get it. They stand for so many things that are wrong in the world.”

Edward also admitted that while the pair are very positive people, they have been struggling during the pandemic.
“I’ve never felt so low in my whole life,” Edward admitted.
