Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s steamy reenactment of a scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High went viral last week, sending fans into a frenzy.
The Hollywood stars, who were married from 2000 until 2005, joined a star-studded virtual reading of the 1982 comedy – where they acted out a raunchy scene that saw Brad’s character fantasise about Jennifer’s character.
Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, John Legend, Jimmy Kimmel, Morgan Freeman, Shia LaBeouf, Dane Cook, Henry Golding and Sean Penn also attended the virtual event.
Now, comedian Dane Cook has revealed how he pulled off the reunion of the year – telling the Better Together with Maria Menounos podcast: “When I text [Jennifer], she was—I’m not trying to make it more fluffy—she could not have been more delightful, game, excited.”

“Again, I knew once those first few names were in there, when Brad Pitt…started coming in, I was like, ‘Yes! This is gonna happen.'”
Dane explained that Jennifer had agreed to participate in the reading before Brad had signed up.
“Once his team talked to him, I’m sure it was just like, ‘Here’s already in there so far.’ There was no hesitation, there was no rules, there was no, nothing.
“There wasn’t anything like… were they not allowed… No! Zero. No drama.”
“They both locked in. What you saw was absolutely what we had hoped – which was just nice engagement between two massive, incredibly talented people!”
Brad played the role of Brad Hamilton in the virtual reenactment, while Jennifer played the role of Linda – who Brad’s character has a crush on.
Morgan Freeman narrated a raunchy scene where Brad is fantasising about his crush, while Jennifer reads: “Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were.”
Jennifer’s character added: “You’re so sexy. Will you come to me?”
The event served as a fundraiser for two nonprofit organisations: CORE – which provides emergency relief amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the REFORM Alliance – which is focused on reforming the criminal justice system.
After watching the flirty scene, fans took to Twitter to share their excitement – with one writing: “Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston infront of each other face to face has to be the highlight of this year.”
