Chloe Ormond has responded to speculation she was set to enter the Love Island villa this year.
Rumours started swirling over the summer after the 21-year-old moved to Ibiza, leading her followers to believe she was gearing up for a stint on the popular dating show.
But during an exclusive interview with Goss.ie to promote her new collaboration with Iconic Bronze, the influencer revealed if there was any truth to the rumours.
Chloe, who is the daughter of TV presenter Brian Ormond, confessed: “No, that was just crazy. I was actually laughing at that because I couldn’t have made it any more obvious that I was in Ibiza.”
“Like I was putting up pictures working in Ocean Beach, and still people thought I was going on Love Island!”
“I am single though, so you never know! But no there wasn’t any truth to that, I was definitely just in Ibiza partying away for the summer.”

However, the 21-year-old admitted she’s been asked to audition for Love Island in the past.
When asked if she’s been contacted by producers through Instagram, Chloe said: “Not this year. In previous years I have, but no not this year.”
As for if she’ll appear on the show in the future, she coyly replied: “I mean I’d never say never, I’d just have to see like where I am in life, and if it was the right time.”
When asked how her famous father Brian Ormond would react to her being on Love Island, Chloe said she thinks her dad would approve.
“Oh god, I actually don’t know! I’m laughing now thinking of myself on the show and my dad watching me date…,” she confessed.
“But, I think if I just stayed true to myself and I had respect for myself on the show, I don’t think he’d mind.”
“He’s very supportive of me anyway no matter what I do, so if I wanted to do it I’m sure he’d encourage me and just give me some tips and guide me like anyone would.”
