Dawn O’Porter has defended Caroline Flack in the wake of her arrest.
The TV presenter was arrested for assault by beating on Friday, after cops called to her home.
Police confirmed Caroline had been arrested and will face court next week.
It was reported that the assault happened after Caroline had a row with boyfriend Lewis Burton.
Taking to Twitter, author Dawn said she isn’t going to make judgement on her actions.
“Woken up to some really hard news about my friend Caroline Flack. Who I love very very much. I will wait until I know the facts before I make a judgement, and I urge you to do the same.

And no this isn’t because she is a woman, it is because she is my friend. If we live in a world where we don’t wait for the facts, we are ALL fucked.

Earlier Love Island fans had called for ITV to drop her from the show.
