Katie McGlynn has broken her silence following reports that she got into an argument with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
The pair were papped having an apparent row after the TV Choice Awards last night.
However, Katie has since taken to Twitter to clarify the situation.
She tweeted: “Must be a slow news day. It was a pleasure meeting @MauraHiggins last night, she’s a lovely girl! We had a great night. Must remember to be less animated when talking to new friends haha.”

The pair were pictured outside the Hilton Hotel in London, alongside Maura’s fellow Islanders Chris Taylor and Curtis Pritchard.
Maura also denied any row took place, confirming Katie’s explanation.
She responded to the tweet, saying: “We definitely had a lot of fun must catch up again soon.”
The stars attended the awards ceremony as both Love Island and Coronation Street were nominated for awards.
