Chris Hughes has been linked with model Mary Bedford after they were spotted on a date in London.
The Love Island star was spotted locking lips with the model in photos obtained by The Sun, as his ex-girlfriend Jesy Nelson is apparently moving on with actor Sean Sagar.
“Chris and Mary went out for a slap-up dinner and looked really close,” a source told the publication.
“They were kissing and cuddling and were all over each other when they headed out at the end of the evening.
“They headed off in a cab to the train station together and looked really sweet together. He even tied her shoelaces for her,” the insider added.
The rumoured romance comes after Chris and Jesy ended their 16-month relationship back in April, with Chris opening up about the split for the first time last month.
“I don’t think I’ve ever felt heartbroken or anything,” he told Vicky Pattison on her The Secret To podcast.
The 27-year-old revealed that lockdown allowed him to heal from the break-up and focus on himself.
“You can actually focus on yourself, which is always a good thing. For me as well, I had a break up! So I needed a bit of focusing on my own stuff. It happened right at the start.”
“It was tough and time’s a healer, you don’t believe it when you’re in the moment.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever felt heartbroken or anything. And then a couple of weeks down the line, you start thinking about it less and less. And the next thing, you’re good as gold.”
Meanwhile Jesy further fueled rumours that she was dating Sean, commenting: “Here he is ????,” on one of the actor’s recent posts.
The rumoured couple recently enjoyed a trip to Cornwall together, taking the time to take photos with fans.
An onlooker told The Sun: “They seemed really relaxed and happy in each other’s company and were laughing together. He was very tactile and protective of her.”
