Amy Huberman reveals she’s still ‘good pals’ with the cast of The Clinic

The popular series came to an end over ten years ago

Amy Huberman has revealed that she’s still “good pals” with her former cast mates from The Clinic.

The RTÉ drama series followed the work and private lives of doctors, medical professionals and staff attached to a busy Dublin clinic – and it aired from 2003 – 2009.

A host of well-known Irish actors appeared on the show alongside Amy, including Aidan Turner, Chris O’Dowd, and Victoria Smurfit, to name just a few.

Amy played Daisy in the hit TV series, and although the show ended over ten years ago, she still gets asked about it.

During an Instagram Q&A, Amy was asked whether she’s still in touch with her former co-stars.

Amy replied: “Loads of them. It was such a fun time in my life. Living on and off in London and filming here in the summer.

“The cast and crew were magic. Chris O’Dowd was my friend from college already but I made such good pals on that show.”

“I see Norma Sheahan and Rachel Pilkington a lot and see Victoria Smurfit when I can but she lives away. I bloody loved working on that show and we filmed it for seven years.”

“I’m in touch with a lot of the others on Facebook as many don’t live here,” she added.

During the Q&A session, Amy was also asked when was the last time she cried, and she replied: “I shed a tear the other day not seeing my family.”

“Everyone is in the same boat and it’s s**t. And I think it’s good to have a little cry. It’s cathartic. It has to come out.”
