Penneys respond to reports that they’re trialling a click and collect service

We're DEVASTATED!

Primark, otherwise known as Penneys in Ireland, have responded to reports that they’re trialling a click and collect service.

Earlier this week, rumours were rife that a click and collect service was “on the horizon”, after Primark’s CEO Paul Merchant spoke to a group of analysts at Davy.

The global fashion retailer has since released a statement, which reads: “From time to time we will look at click and collect as one possible option to extend our customer service. However, there are no plans in the near future to trial click and collect.”

They added: “Primark has a strong digital and a rapidly growing social media presence, with currently 14 million followers.”

“Our customers enjoy looking online at the latest offers, and coming into stores to buy. The combination of instore design, shopping experience and amazing prices is what makes Primark so attractive.”
