Amanda Byram has admitted that marriage isn’t important once you have the right man.
The 41-year-old TV presenter told Goss.ie that having cancelled a wedding in the past, marriage is not important to her anymore.
“I cancelled a wedding once so for me being married isn’t important, for me it’s about finding the right person and I have so the marriage thing it’s just a day, it’s just a ceremony, to me it’s dress and flowers that don’t really mean anything,” she said.

“I thought it was the be all and end all but once you cancel a wedding you realise it’s not about the wedding it’s about the guy,” she explained.
The brunette beauty has found love with her new man Julian Okines but she won’t be rushing down the aisle anytime soon.
“You know it’s interesting, because I’m 42 this month and I think when you get past a certain age people just stop asking you, they genuinely do. I think they know that we are happy,” she explained.

Amanda brought her hunky beau to the IFTA’s this year where they were photographed by all the media.
“I’m such a private person and I kept it, not purposely on the down low but we just like to keep things private,” she told Goss.ie.
The next day after the IFTAs, it was on Goss and it was in the papers and I was like ‘Oh I don’t like it’ but no I’m so proud to have him on my arm and he’s so proud of me.”

The fitness fanatic seems more loved up than ever with her TV producer boyfriend and is enjoying showing him around the Emerald Isle.
“It’s so lovely for him to support me and see me in my environment which he’s never seen before.”
“I’m really cuffed to be able to show him my home and my hometown and my Irish people and he got on with everybody and we mingled in the room after and he is so good with people, he’s amazing,” she added.
