Amy Huberman has called on members of the public to shake a Bucket for Barnardos on Friday 18 September.
The mother of two took to the camera to educate the public on child poverty in Ireland and the importance of donating to the cause.
Speaking at a Barnardos centre, the TV star asked viewers to lend aid to the charity.
“Barnardos works with 11,300 children and families, but to continue their work they need your help,” she said.
“They’re looking for volunteer team leaders and bucket shakers all over the country, so get involved today.”
