Priyanka Chopra shared an incredible pre-wedding video of the Sangeet ceremony.
The actress wed Nick Jonas in India yesterday and the pair were joined by their family members to share the special day.
The newly-weds shared a few snaps from their wedding, but Priyanka has now posted their vibrant video of the Sangeet, which shows just how incredible their celebration really was.
“It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was,” the 36-year-old wrote.
“Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.”
The video showed the groom’s older brother, Joe Jonas, performing, as well as Priyanka and Nick also taking to the stage and a number of extravagant performances by friends and family.
The bride also shared snaps from the night and even posted a huge group photo with everyone from the Sangeet on-stage.
