Robert Sheehan has admitted he found it tough watching Love/Hate after he left the RTE drama.
The actor, who played Darren in the award-winning show, said although he was happy to leave the series he was sad about the chapter ending.
“It was difficult to watch Love/Hate carry on without me,” he said.
“Even though I was happy with my decision at the time, there was a certain sense of melancholia to it.”

“But I never regretted my choice,” he told the Irish Independent.
“It felt right at the time, that’s what my gut was telling me and I followed a certain path,” he added.
