Niall Horan pays tribute to Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey

Niall Horan has paid tribute to one of his musical heroes, Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey after his sudden passing.

The 67-year-old’s death was announced yesterday after suffering from a number of illnesses including acute ulcerative colitis, pneumonia and rheumatoid arthritis.

The One Direction star remembered the late musician by taking to his social media.

”Very sad to hear of the passing of one of my favourites of all time. A man I had the pleasure of meeting and a man I had the honour of listening to all my life,” he said.

The Mullingar man also took to his Twitter to share lyrics from the band’s song No More Cloudy Days from the their latest record, Long Road Out of.

”These cloudy days, make you wanna cry. It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why,” he said.

The West Meath man previously had been vocal about how the American band had influenced his songwriting and music.
