Kodaline and Hozier serenade Fearne Cotton on her last day

Hozier, Kodaline and Annie Mac have bid farewell to Fearne Cotton for her last day on BBC Radio 1.

Kodaline went into the studio to wish her well and they thanked her for kick starting their music career.

Not only that but they sang a special version of The One for her changing the end of the track with a thoughtful message.

“We’re gonna miss you on the airwaves, thanks for everything you’ve done, cause BBC will never feel the same, we’re gonna miss you when you’re gone,

“We hope the goldfish that we gave you, are still alive and swimming on,” they sang.

Fearne was clearly chuffed and said how their music was ‘beautiful’ and that they had a ‘gorgeous song’ and  she ‘loved the video’.

Hozier also got in touch to send a sweet message to the 33-year-old radio DJ.

“Whatever she does in the future is going to be amazing. She’s part of my career, thank you,” he said.

Dublin DJ Annie Mac wasn’t in studio to bid farewell to Fearne so instead sent in a message into her colleague.
