Keith Barry has revealed Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman demanded that the magician read his mind.
The mentalist has been working on the sequel to Now You See Me for several months and pal Woody Harrelson introduced him to the A-list actor, who also stars in the movie.
“It was amazing to meet the man, I don’t get starstruck very often but that was one occasion where I did. They were filming a scene that I happened to be around for and Woody introduced me to him,” he told Goss.ie.
“He said ‘Hey Morgan this is Keith, he can read your mind’ and Morgan’s first words to me where ‘I challenge you to read my mind’ which put me under a bit of pressure.”

“So I did a whole mind reading experiment with him and he was a fantastic man. He’s a bit of a wind-up merchant as well. At the end of the experiment his reaction was brilliant, he said it was un-f*****g-believable.”
Keith worked as a consultant on the first movie, working closely with star Woody Harrelson, who later flew to Waterford to hang out with the star.
The Waterford native has had a very busy schedule lately, as well as working on the film teaching the stars his tricks – Keith is on ITV’s latest game show You’re Back In The Room.

“It was brilliant. I suppose we’ll find out tomorrow what people think of it but it was a great experience to be a part of a new format that hasn’t been done before.
“Hypnosis has never been used in a TV show format before so hopefully it will pay off.”
Keith added he loved working with much loved presenter Phillip Schofield on the series.

“He’s pretty much the same off screen as he is on screen, just a fun, genuine character,” he told Goss.ie.
The magician also admitted he regularly tried to wind the TV host up on set.
“I liked winding him up on stage, there were certain hypnotic suggestions that I implanted into people’s brains that he had no idea where going to happen.
