Jennifer Zamparelli has revealed she would love to see a Bridget and Eamon movie.

The RTE star was thrilled with the success of Republic of Telly spin-off Bridget and Eamon and reckons the show could translate well onto the big screen.

Speaking at launch of Three Ireland’s 3Money card, Jen said making a movie makes sense.

“Yeah, I think it could be a film. I think because we’ve written a series, we could write a film,” she told Goss.ie.

“It’s less minutes to write. Who knows what’s going to happen? It’s looking very positive for ¬†Bridget and Eamon, we had great feedback.”

Although the mum-of-one does not yet know if the show will be renewed for a second season, she has her fingers crossed.

“Who knows? Who knows what’s going to happen? We would love it to come back because it did so well,” she said.

“The ratings were fantastic. It exceeded our expectations, we didn’t expect it to do so well. Hopefully it will come back.”
