Prince William has denied claims that he was “deeply unhappy” with his brother Harry’s statement about his girlfriend Meghan Markle.
Earlier this month, Prince Harry shocked the world by releasing a statement through Kensington Palace, in which he confirmed his relationship with the actress and condemned the “wave of abuse and harassment” she had suffered.
After the statement was made, a number of media outlets reported that Prince William was disappointed with his brother’s decision – however, the Duke has since slammed those reports.

“The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him,” a spokesperson for Kensington Palace told Us Weekly.
“A statement like this would not have been released with The Duke first being consulted,” a Palace aide also said.
Meanwhile, William and Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice has been subject to plenty of drama over the weekend, as it was revealed that she SLICED open Ed Sheeran’s face with a sword.
