Meanwhile, the main star of the 2004 movie, Lindsay Lohan, recently revealed that she was desperately trying to make Mean Girls 2 happen.

“I have been trying so hard to do a Mean Girls 2. It is not in my hands. I know that Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount are very busy,” she told CNN.

“But I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it. I would love to do it. I’d love to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the movie.”
