Playboy Playmate faces jail time for posting naked photo of pensioner

Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers could face jail time and a $1 million damages claim, after sharing a nude photo of an elderly woman at the gym.

The 2015 Playmate of the Year posted the photo on her Snapchat back in July, without the pensioner’s knowledge, and wrote,  “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

The model came under fire for body shaming the woman, and ended up getting fired from her job with LA radio station KLOS – and now she could be facing time behind bars.

Entertainment lawyer Devin McRae said the victim could also seek up to $1 million dollars in damages, and could sue to invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and could even press charges under a “revenge porn” statute.

“It could go into the seven figures, it would seem. I think the victim would have a very solid case,” he told The Wrap.

The blonde has since claimed that she “accidentally” posted the explicit photo, after issuing an apology.

“I just want to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted. It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do. I chose to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know body shaming is wrong, that’s not what I’m about and this is not the type of person I am.

“The photo was taken as part of a personal conversation with a girlfriend and because I am new to Snapchat I really didn’t realise I had posted it, and that was a huge mistake.

“I know I have upset a lot of people out there but please, please believe me this when I say this: this is not the type of person that I am. I have never done this before and I will never do this again, you have my word,” she said.

The 29-year-old has enlisted the help of lawyer Tom Mesereau, the same man who crushed Michael Jackson’s molestation charges back in 2005.

According to TMZ, the LAPD want to make an example out of Dani, as cases involving cyber bullying and revenge porn have been making headlines all over the world over the past few years.

The LA city attorney has launched a review of the case, and a decision is expected to be announced soon.
