Making A Murderer star has conviction OVERTURNED

One of the stars of Netflix documentary Making A Murderer has had their conviction overturned.

Brendan Dassey – who was sentenced to life with no parole for 41 years was convicted in 2007 for first degree homicide and second-degree sexual assault in the infamous Teresa Halbach case.

Now a judge has overturned the conviction and Brendan is set to be released from custody within the next 90 days.

Brendan was one of the main stars of the Netflix documentary, which followed the story of Steven Avery, who was wrongfully prisoned for a rape and later was convicted of killing Teresa Halbach.

County police were accused of “leading” Brendan to admitting he had taken part in the murder – with many believing Brendan and Steven didn’t kill Teresa at all and were “set up” by local police.g

After the documentary was released hundreds and thousands of people across the world petitioned for Steven to be released.
