Leonardo DiCaprio gushed about a mystery Irish woman, but it turns out it wasn’t even him at all.
The actor has been romantically linked to a string of models and actresses including Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen – but this morning it appeared that an Irish woman once captured the Hollywood hunk’s heart.
“I used to know a woman from Limerick, Ireland. Very beautiful woman,” he said.

Satirical website KY12 News fabricated a story that won over the hearts of many Irish fans, who believed the actor once had a secret girlfriend in Ireland.
“I visited her there years ago and met her sisters and some friends and I’m telling you, they were all beautiful,” the fake news website wrote.
“I don’t know what it is about this place but they’re gorgeous in Limerick.”

The website’s fake star gave a lengthy description of why he’s such a fan of women from Limerick – but unfortunately the real Leonardo didn’t say any of these lovely things.
“I’m not saying they’re more physically beautiful than all of the other women in the world,” the website’s fake Leonardo explained.
“But when you factor in their great personality, sweet nature, and natural beauty – I’m talking natural beauty, none of this fake stuff – the women in Limerick are without a doubt the most beautiful women I’ve ever come across.”
