Kylie Minogue not able to start a family since being diagnosed with cancer

The singer is engaged to Joshua Sasse

Kylie Minogue has admitted that she may not be able to start a family since being diagnosed with cancer.

The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 when she was 37 years old, but now, as she’s about to tie the knot with fiancé Joshua Sasse, she has been forced to consider her “options.”

“When cancer strikes, you have to consider all of that. Trust me, there’s a point when the next person who says, ‘Well, there are many options,’ you want to scream,” she said about the possibly of becoming pregnant after cancer.

Despite her joy that there are options for her to have children, Kylie is happy to be an auntie to her three nephews for now.

“Of course, it’s great there are options. It’s marvellous there are options,” she told The Sunday Time’s Magazine.

“But when you’re dealing with all the other stuff and things that you took for granted are taken away from you, it’s like, yes, there are options.

“But I have three nephews who I am crazy about, so I’m good at being an auntie.”

The Aussie also admitted that she has questioned about what her children will look like or if she could see herself in them if she had to consider other options.

“I guess you have those visions of, ‘God, what would my child look like, be it a boy or a girl? What would I see of myself in them?’

“That’s saddening, but I’ve had to face that for a long time,” she added.
