Justin Bieber turns down movie role because of gay sex scene

Justin Bieber said no to an upcoming movie role because his character would have to act out a gay sex scene – and Justin apparently can’t handle it.

The movie script, entitled Uber Girl, is currently getting shopped around Hollywood represented by Lighthouse Entertainment LA and Cinema Epoch. Project bosses sought out Justin to play a pop star in the film.

In the movie, Justin’s character has sex with a male background dancer – and it seems Justin wasn’t keen. “He won’t take the part unless the sex scene is taken out of the final script,” co-writer Pete O’Neill told Page Six.

In the past, Justin has expressed some support for the gay community, although he has never been a loud activist. He posted an Instagram video last year in which he kisses a male friend on the cheek. “I’m not gay but even if I was that’s not an insult,” he captioned the vid.

More recently, he posted another short video on Instagram. In the clip a bespectacled Justin says “less hate…more love.” However, it seems Justin isn’t ready to bring an LGBT character to the big screen.

Justin has previously played a prisoner in two episodes of CSI, and appeared in Ben Stiller’s Zoolander No. 2.

The producers of Uber Girl are also trying to cast Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande in the film. They describe the film as a millennial coming of age story.
