Ed Sheeran has shared another teaser of his upcoming album, and people think it’s about the title.
The short clip shows a blue background with a division symbol, ÷, fading in and out.
His previously albums were titled + (plus) and x (multiply), so the name Divide would certainly fit in with his theme.
On New Year’s Day, the star posted a short video clip simply announcing that new music was on its way on the 6th of January.

Ed has been on a social media hiatus since last year, announcing his break in an Instagram post.
At the time he wrote “I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes.
“So I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed.”
His new music will be dropping this Friday 6th January 5am GMT, and midnight ET.
