Rumors are flying that Ed Sheeran is secretly married to his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn.
Fans started freaking out after Ed’s musician buddy Jovel uploaded a picture on Instagram, the shot shows Jovel sitting on the grass with his daughter and Ed, with the I See Fire singer sporting a large silver band on his wedding finger.
“My baby girls 5th birthday party was lit! Even both godparents were in attendance finally lol,” Jovel captioned the post.

The singer has been on break since last year, so all his social media accounts have gone silent. While on his break, he’s been traveling the world, having recently returned from holiday in Australia with Cherry.
Frantic all-caps speculation ensued on Twitter.

Cherry and Ed met in high school in England. They have been dating for over a year – the pair celebrated their one year anniversary July 5th. The two travel together frequently.
Ed Sheeran announced his career break last year on Instagram. “Hello all. I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while,” he wrote.
“I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I see myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed.”
Perhaps he has also taken the opportunity to get hitched.
