Daniel Craig ‘offered $150 million’ to continue James Bond role

Daniel Craig has reportedly been offered $150 million to continue his role as James Bond.

While the 48-year-old previously admitted that he would rather “slit my wrists” than play 007 again, the actor has been offered a massive $150 million by Sony, if he signs up for two more Bond films.

According to Radar Online, sources say Daniel’s reluctance to return to the role has actually worked in his favour.

“[He] has played a genius hand. Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn’t an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned,” a source said.

If Daniel agrees to sign on, the films will be shot “virtually back-to-back”, with the final decision resting on famed Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.

The news comes after Idris Elba and Aidan Turner denied taking on the role of the super spy, after they were both rumoured to be the next 007.
