Chris Brown is released from jail after posting $250,000 bail

Chris Brown has been released from police custody after posting his $250,000 bail.

The singer has landed himself in hot water after a beauty queen claimed he pulled a gun on her.

Police surrounded the Virginia native’s home but Chris refused to let them in for hours before they finally arrested him.

The near-14-hour stand, according to Associated Press, ended when the LAPD obtained a search warrant for the musician’s home.

The woman in question, Baylee Curran, admitted that she was admiring some of the diamond jewellery one of Chris’ friends was showing her when Chris pointed his gun at her.

“I don’t know if it was Chris’ friend or how he was related, but that’s when he told me to back away from the diamond necklace and started cussing me out and calling me names,” she told the Los Angeles Times.

“That’s when Chris pulled his gun and told me to ‘Get out.’

“He said. ‘I’m sick of you girls, get the f*** out!'”

Baylee also revealed that when she fled the house with a friend, they were forced to wait by the house’s gate until an associate of Chris’ retrieved from phone from her – which she had to hand over as a condition of entering his house.

The associate told her that she would get her phone back if she signed a non-disclosure agreement but she refused before snatching her phone and running away.

Baylee managed to escape before Chris’ associate jumped into a Jeep to catch them and escaped to a nearby neighbour’s property to hide under an SUV until the Jeep drove by.

The neighbour then contacted the police.
