Cheryl has fuelled rumours that she’s pregnant with her first child, as her mum Joan was snapped shopping in Mothercare.
The former X Factor judge was rumoured to be expecting her first child with her 1D star beau Liam Payne after appearing fuller-faced in a L’Oreal ad – and now, it looks like the speculation could be correct.
Cheryl’s mother Joan Callaghan was pictured buying two pregnancy pillows at Mothercare in Newcastle over the weekend, and an eyewitness has revealed that the 57-year-old was asking the shop assistant plenty of questions.
“She had a massive pregnancy pillow which helps make your bump more comfortable when you’re trying to sleep,” an onlooker told The Sun.

“She was asking the assistant for advice about another kind that she wanted, more of a wedge which you can put under your bump when it’s quite big to help take the weight.
“The shop assistant went away and came back with what she had asked for. I wondered if she knew that in a few months they would be needed and was stocking up, it’s what my mum would be doing.
“It would be lovely if it was true as Cheryl has had such a crap time with men over the years,” they added.
While Joan is also mum to four other children, it is not known whether any of them, or their partners, are currently expecting – so she could very well be shopping for her pop star daughter.
A spokesperson for Cheryl or Liam is yet to comment on the rumours.
