X Factor‘s Dalton Harris will be “forced to leave the U.K.” just days after winning the show.
The Jamaican native’s visa is set to expire in a matter of days, which will result in him being forced to return to the Caribbean.
“I need to get a new visa. I will have to leave the UK for a bit as you’re not allowed to just stay for ever,” the singer told The Sun.
The visa has sparked some worry amongst fans though, as many fear the 24-year-old won’t be able to record his winning album or possibly perform during The X Factor tour.
“Hopefully my visa will be sorted out quickly,” he added, as show bosses are believed to be working hard to get Dalton a new visa ASAP.
“I had a visa that allowed me to compete in the show, so I’d be surprised if the government didn’t give me one now I have won.”
Dalton was crowned winner of The X Factor on Sunday night, with his incredible rendition of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s ‘The Power of Love.’
