Former The Wanted singer, Max George has talked about Love Island’s Laura Crane starring in his music video.
The 29-year-old chatted about the video on ‘Lorraine’ this morning.
The video for his new single ‘Barcelona’ was filmed before the islander entered the Villa.
Max said that Laura was the real “star of the video” and stated that he “didn’t have to do anything.”
The ‘Barcelona’ singer however, didn’t even know at the stage that Laura was entering Love Island, he mentioned how surprised he was to find out she was going on the show.
“It was only about two weeks ago I got a text saying Laura’s going on Love Island”.
After that, Max admitted to tuning in to watch the show and got hooked and understands now “why everyone loves it!”.
Laura was one of the late comers to the Villa, only entering on the final two weeks of the show. She immediately caught the attention of Jack, who dumped the other Laura for her.
In the video Laura and Max have a summer romance, surfing together, running along the beach and cuddling in a camper van staring at the scenic surroundings.
At one stage the two embrace and even share a sweet kiss.
During his appearance on Lorraine, Max also told how Jason Derulo gave him the confidence to go solo.
“He was the guy that told me that I could do it on my own and had all this confidence in me and he had a direction for me. That was the first time I thought, ‘Maybe I’ll have a go on my own.”
