Vicky Pattison will ‘never forgive herself’ for not being there when her best friend died suddenly

The reality star's close friend passed away during the summer

Vicky Pattison has admitted that she’ll ‘never forgive herself’ for not being there when her best friend died suddenly over the summer.

The reality star appeared on Jeremy Vine today, where she opened up about the death of her 37-year-old best friend, Paul Burns.

The nightclub owner died of heart attack just hours after he celebrated his birthday with Vicky, and the former Geordie Shore star was left devastated by his death.

An emotional Vicky explained, “Back in the summer, my best friend passed away very suddenly. His heart just stopped beating.”

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t with him at the time, which was something that I don’t think I’ll ever truly forgive myself for. Having said that there was nothing I could have done if I had been there.

She continued, “He was so vibrant and full of life. He was incredibly funny and warm and charismatic. It was a loss not just for me and his family, but – and I’m not being biased here – for the entire North East.”

The brunette opened up about losing her friend as she explained why she postponed her wedding to John Noble.
