Only three of the Spice Girls have actually secured an invite to the Royal Wedding.
Despite reports that the five-some were set to reunite for a special royal wedding performance, it’s been reported that only three of the girl band members have been invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column, “Only Victoria [Beckham], Emma [Bunton] and Geri [Horner] were invited, so clearly, the Spice Girls were never going to perform.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Sir Elton John will perform on the big day, 21 years after he famously sang Candle In The Wind at Princess Diana’s funeral.
The news comes after Mel B, who is NOT invited, hinted that the Spice Girls would be performing at the royal wedding.Â
Mel was asked on the talk show The Real if she knew anyone attending, and she mouthed, “Yeah, I’m going… I don’t know if I should’ve said that!”
When asked if anyone else she knew would be attending, Mel continued, “Well us five Spice Girls… why am I so honest?”
