While Lewis Capaldi is best known for his stunning vocals on Someone You Loved, the Scottish singer shows a completely different side to himself on social media.
Since he started topping the charts in the UK, Lewis has gained over 700k followers thanks to his hilarious wit, and his no holds barred Instagram Stories.
After opening for Picture This for five nights in a row last week, the 22-year-old jetted to Los Angeles to meet with his US record label – but he got himself into quite a situation in his hotel room.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Lewis confessed to blocking the toilet in his room, and filmed his escapades as he went on the hunt for a toilet brush.
Speaking to the camera, Lewis said: “I’ve done a s***e, and I’m sorry I always talk about going to the toilet, but this is an emergency.”
“I’ve used the toilet last night, sue me. It won’t flush, it’s stuck there and there’s no f***ing toilet brush.
“I’ve got someone coming here later to put make up on my face, I’ve been told it’s a lady. And she’s going to come in her and go ‘can I use the bathroom?’
“She’ll go in and she’ll see a big pile of f***ing dirty toilet paper and she’ll run out the door f***ing screaming.”

“At what point does a hotel go ‘right, we’re going to put a toilet in here that can’t handle two wipes of an a**e, and we’re not going to put a plunger or a f***ing toilet brush in here.”
Lewis ends up walking down the streets of Hollywood to go and buy a plunger, and filmed himself plunging his toilet while saying, “I’ve had a number one song for five weeks in the UK… come to America and it all changes.”
The moral of the story is – if you’re looking for someone to give you a LOL on Instagram, you need to get following Lewis asap.
